Correction: I say the Divine Praises while watching a livestream of Eucharistic adoration. Yours is truly a spiritually enriching website and the photo of the priests concelebrating the Eucharist are inspiring.

The Divine Praises (Laudes Divinae) is an 18th-century prayer. It is traditionally recited during Benediction – but can be used at other times, either in a group or individually.
The prayer was written in Italian by Jesuit priest Luigi Felici SJ (1736–1818) in 1797. It is intended for making reparation after saying or hearing sacrilege or blasphemy / mis-use of the name of Jesus.
It was expanded by Pope Pius VII in 1801, and at some point was translated into English, Latin (and likely various other languages) – the translator(s) are unknown. The English version is sometimes just called “The Blessed be God”.
