Jesus, I Trust in You!
STOCKBRIDGE, MA, March 30, 2020 ― A priest is urging Christians to post an image of the Divine Mercy on the front doors of their homes to protect them and their families during the coronavirus pandemic.
In his March 26 “Seal the Doors” video, Fr. Chris Alar of the Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception asks listeners to place a copy of the Divine Mercy Image of Jesus on their front doors, facing outwards. He calls this response to the coronavirus “a simple but an incredibly powerful act of faith.”

Blessing formula for use by the laity (from above, 0:50 onwards):
+ O Lord I seek Thy blessing upon this Image; Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
(Sprinkle with Holy Water if possible)
Jesus also made specific promises to those who venerate the Image of Divine Mercy. He told St. Faustina:
“These rays shield souls from the wrath of My Father. Happy is the one who will dwell in their shelter, for the just hand of God shall not lay hold of him”. (Diary 299)
“I promise that the soul that will venerate this Image will not perish. I also promise victory over its enemies already here on earth, especially at the hour of death. I Myself will defend it as My own glory.” (Diary 48)
“I am offering people a vessel with which they are to keep coming for graces to the fountain of mercy. That vessel is this Image with the signature: “Jesus, I trust in You.” (Diary 327)
“By means of this Image I shall be granting many graces to souls; so let every soul have access to it.” (Diary 570)
“By means of this Image I shall grant many graces to souls. It is to be a reminder of the demands of My mercy, because even the strongest faith is of no avail without works.” (Diary 724)

The just is secure under the protection of God.
The praise of a canticle for David.
He that dwelleth in the aid of the most High, shall abide under the protection of the God of Jacob. He shall say to the Lord: Thou art my protector, and my refuge: my God, in him will I trust. For he hath delivered me from the snare of the hunters: and from the sharp word. He will overshadow thee with his shoulders: and under his wings thou shalt trust. His truth shall compass thee with a shield: thou shalt not be afraid of the terror of the night.
Of the arrow that flieth in the day, of the business that walketh about in the dark: of invasion, or of the noonday devil. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand: but it shall not come nigh thee. But thou shalt consider with thy eyes: and shalt see the reward of the wicked. Because thou, O Lord, art my hope: thou hast made the most High thy refuge. There shall no evil come to thee: nor shall the scourge come near thy dwelling.
For he hath given his angels charge over thee; to keep thee in all thy ways. In their hands they shall bear thee up: lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. Thou shalt walk upon the asp and the basilisk: and thou shalt trample under foot the lion and the dragon. Because he hoped in me I will deliver him: I will protect him because he hath known my name. He shall cry to me, and I will hear him: I am with him in tribulation, I will deliver him, and I will glorify him.
I will fill him with length of days; and I will shew him my salvation.
Gloria Patri …
August Queen of Heaven Prayer
August Queen of the Heavens, Heavenly Sovereign of the Angels, thou who from the beginning received from God the power and the mission to crush the head of Satan, we humbly beseech thee, to send thy holy Legions so that, under thy command and through thy power, they may pursue the demons, combat them everywhere, suppress their boldness and drive them back into the abyss.
“Who is like unto God?”
O good and tender Mother, thou shalt always be our love and our hope!
O Divine Mother, send thy holy Angels to defend us and drive far away from us the cruel enemy.
All ye holy Angels and Archangels, defend us and guard us. Amen.
God bless us and the Virgin protect us!
(Given to Bl. Father Louis Cestac, 13 January 1864)
Sanctus Deus, Sanctus Fortis, Sanctus Immortális, miserére nobis.
(Holy God, Holy Strong, Holy Immortal, have mercy upon us.)
Mercy, Holy Crucifix!
The Angel’s Prayer (Fatima)
O Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Ghost, I adore Thee profoundly. I offer Thee the most precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifferences by which He is offended. By the infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary I beg the conversion of poor sinners. Amen.
V/. Queen of Heaven, rejoice, alleluia:
R/. For He Whom thou hast deserved to bear, alleluia,
V/. Hath risen, as He said, alleluia.
R/. Pray for us to God, alleluia.
V/. Rejoice and be glad, O Virgin Mary, alleluia.
R/. Because the Lord is truly risen, alleluia.
Let us pray.
O God, who by the Resurrection of Thy Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, hast vouchsafed to make glad the whole world, grant, we beseech Thee, that through the intercession of the Virgin Mary, His Mother, we may attain the joys of eternal life. Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.
